Bf 109F-4 History:

The Bf 109F represented the perfect balance between performance, maneuverability and firepower. The F-4 version, introduced in 1941, mounted the powerful Daimler-Benz DB 601E engine and armament consisting of one MG 151/20 20mm cannon in the propeller hub and two MG 17 7.92mm machine guns above the engine. This combination, united with refined aerodynamics, made it one of the most feared fighters in European skies, especially during the invasion of the Soviet Union.
