The Aichi E13A is a Japanese reconnaissance seaplane, single-engine, long-range, with two floats and a crew of 3, from World War II. The prototype's first test flight took place in 1940, and a year later the aircraft entered service. The E13A saw its combat debut in China, where it operated with cruisers and other heavy ships as a light bomber. It participated in the attack on Pearl Harbor and during the battles in the Coral Sea and Midway.
